We are thrilled to announce a new chapter for our practice! To ensure the continued health and vision of our community, Dr. Jere Loo has carefully selected Dr. Harvey Yang to join our team and continue the legacy of caring for his Kauai patient ‘ohana.
Originally practicing on the Big Island, Dr. Yang brings a wealth of expertise and a shared commitment to the "local style" of care that our patients have trusted for decades.
A Legacy of Excellence
Dr. Yang’s background is truly unique. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Peking University in 1993 and completed an Ophthalmology residency before earning his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley. This dual medical and optometric perspective allows him to provide specialized care for complex conditions right here in Lihue. Dr. Yang is dedicated to utilizing the latest technology to serve patients of all ages.

When he’s not in the clinic, you might find Dr. Yang exploring our island’s trails or practicing his ukulele. He is proud to call Kauai home and looks forward to meeting you and your family at your next visit.
